Getting Started

  1. Get your Ethereum Wallet

First things first, you will need to get yourself an Ethereum wallet to store all your cryptocurrency and META NFTs

One of the most common NFT wallets that people prefer to use is Metamask.io

If you would like some guidance on how to set up your Metamask wallet, check out this helpful guide: How to Set Up Your MetaMask Wallet

  1. Add Polygon Network to the Metamask Wallet

To add Polygon’s Mainnet, click on the Network selection dropdown and then click on “Add Network”.

On the Metamask Settings page you will see a list of Networks that can be added. If you see Polygon Mainnet on the list, click the blue “Add” button next to it and click “Approve”.

If you do not see Polygon on the list, click the “Add a network manually” button at the bottom

It will open up a form where you can add the below information into their respective fields

in the Network Name field, Polygon Mainnet  in the New RPC URL field, https://polygon-rpc.com/  in Chain ID field, 137  in Currency Symbol field, MATIC   in Block Explorer URL field, https://polygonscan.com/

Once you’ve added the information click on Save. You will be directly switched to Polygon’s Mainnet now in the network dropdown list. You can now close the dialog.

You have successfully added Polygon Network to your Metamask!

Now you may see the Polygon Mainnet on the Networks tab

  1. Once you have your Metamask connected to the Polygon Network, you can now connect your wallet to MetaZone by clicking on the purple “Connect Wallet” button at the top right of the UI

A Metamask prompt will popup asking for a signature request, press sign to complete the connection process

  1. Once the connection to the platform is completed, you’re now ready to begin exploring and purchasing your first metaverse assets on the MetaZone Store!

But you now have to migrate funds from Ethereum Network to the Polygon Network in order to purchase some of the METAs. To learn how to transfer funds between the two networks, click on the link to the Polygon Wallet Suite and follow the step-by-step guide below.

To log into the Polygon Wallet Suite you need to access the following URL: https://wallet.polygon.technology/

Moving Funds from Ethereum to Polygon

In the Polygon Wallet Suite interface, click on the “Bridge” button under the Wallet Features section (be sure you are on the Proof of Stake network and not ZkEVM)

You will be redirected to the bridge page where you need to enter the deposit amount

Once you have added the amount that you want to deposit, you can then click on the Transfer button. After you click on the Transfer button, you need to click on the Continue button on the next popup

You will see a Transfer Overview popup with an estimate of the total gas required for the transaction:

After that, you can review your transaction details:

Once you confirm the transaction, you will see a Transfer in Progress popup which will show you the Deposit status. It will take ~7-8 minutes for the tokens to show up on Polygon

After the required time, the transaction will be completed

You can always check your past and current transactions by clicking on the Transactions tab on the left.

Now with the transfer completed, you will have cryptocurrency on the Polygon Network ready to be used to purchase the METAs you desire. The next section below will guide you on how to do exactly that.

How to Buy METAs

  1. What are METAs

A Meta is any custom-built creation submitted by Creators that is deployable to Owner's lands and that Players can interact with in the metaverse. These creations are ownable digital assets that allow the owner to install the content onto their land zones or stake the content into the land zones of others if given permission.

Through the MetaZone platform, creators are able to mint their content as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and distribute them through the MetaZone Store to interested buyers looking to own the world’s first Metaverse Enabled Tokenized Applications.

  1. Explore METAs Page

To find META creations that are listed for sale, go to the “Explore METAs” page. There are two ways to access the Explore META page.

You can access via Home Page by clicking on the Explore Metas above the newest METAs listing display on the home page

Or you can access via the menu panel by dragging your mouse cursor to the left side icon bar and clicking “Explore” under the Store dropdown menu

From the Explore Metas page, you can access a few features to customize what assets you would like to have on display and to aid your search process to find what it is you desire

Managing Your Metaverse Assets

Users on the MetaZone platform will accrue digital assets over time as they continue down their metaverse journey. These digital assets will be split into 3 categories (LAND, METAs, and Assets) which all can be viewed and accessed at all times while navigating the platform from the "My Assets" tray at the top of the UI.

From this tray you will see 3 buttons labeled METAs, LANDs, and Assets that will display the assets you own in your account

You can scroll down to see all of your assets from within the tray if needed

The "+" button at the end of your assets on display from within the tray will navigate you directly to the Explore METAs page

Exploring MetaZone Brands

  1. What are Brands

MetaZone Brands are projects or entities that have previously or are in the process of dropping METAs into the MZ content ecosystem. Each Brand has collections of assets which can range from METAs, wearables, consumables, etc.

Brands represent the user-generated content creators and the ecosystems they are deploying to the metaverse. The MetaZone Brands platform has multiple features that enable the creator to optimally market their content and foster community relations with users who own and host their METAs

Exploring, Visiting, and Staking METAs to Land Zones

  1. What are Zones

Zones on MetaZone are the collective experiences land owners of the metaverse produce when installing METAs onto their properties. Users of the MetaZone platform are able to leverage the Zone page as a means to attract new visitors to their lands to directly port into their experience, or to contribute METAs they may own by allowing the staking of METAs.

This means if a user owns METAs but does not have any virtual land to connect them to, or if the META owner has a desire to add their METAs to another Land Owner, the staking feature will allow them to do so if the Land Owner accepts the offer for installation.
